Joyful memories of my Italian family gatherings to celebrate life with good food, laughter and music are treasured in my heart… these experiences moved me to Italy and began my lifelong appreciation of fine Italian olive oil and foods!

I discovered that Italians live simply, eat simply and joyfully relish in the present moment. Food is treasured in Italy. Food is fresh, organic and is prepared with ease. Family and friends gather for meaningful conversations filled with laughter that linger for hours while savoring the flavors of good food, olive oil and wine.

I was surprised to find that for centuries olive trees have been sacred to Italians. Many homes have an olive branch above the doorway; I was told it represents peace and prosperity. Olive oil is a staple in the Mediterranean; it is used for raw consumption, cooking and beauty products. My favorite is extra virgin olive oil. It is the highest grade, purest in flavor and is loaded with nutritional values. My dream was born!

My passion for olive oil inspired me to create Fanucchi Oils, A Tasting Company, to share with you how to live simply, eat simply and joyfully relish in the present moment.
